Whilst you will receive the same warm welcome as always, things will look a little different at The Retreat and there are a few things to be aware of to enable us to keep both you and ourselves healthy and safe.
For the forseeable future the only way to book appointments will be online (unless you have a gift voucher to redeem, for that you will need to call the salon on 01935 479808).
You will receive a general consultation form to complete on booking of your appointment. 24 hours before your appointment you will also receive a Covid-19 Questionnaire - both of these will need to be completed online and sent back to us before your appointment. Without these we will not be able to carry our your appointment. Please also be aware that the details you submit on the Covid-19 Questionnaire may be requested by Track and Trace. COVID VACCINATIONS - PLEASE LEAVE 2 WEEKS BETWEEN RECEIVING YOUR VACCINATION AND HAVING A PATCH TEST/TINTING SERVICE. WE ALSO ADVISE LEAVING A MINIMUM OF 72 HOURS BETWEEN MASSAGE TREATMENTS AND VACCINATION.
After each appointment we have set aside time to thoroughly clean down and disinfect equipment, touch surfaces and our rooms. For this reason we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment, we won't be able to treat you if you are late. If you do arrive early, please either wait outside the building or wait in your car. Our reception door will be locked at all times. We will only be able to do the appointments that you have requested and we ask if you want to change your treatment that you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice otherwise you will be charged for the services booked.
Our waiting area will be closed so we ask that you attend alone and bring minimal personal belongings with you.
On entry to reception you will be asked to sanitise your hands. There will be hand sanitiser and handwashing facilities throughout the salon for you.
All personal belongings will be placed in a wipeable box and we ask that you keep your phone in that box.
Sadly we won't be able to provide you with our normal tea, coffee and biscuits. We will be able to provide you with water in a disposable cup if it is needed.
We ask that you wear a face covering for the duration of your appointment. If you arrive without one we do have a small supply here and will provide you with one. Should you have a medical condition that inhibits the wearing of a face covering, please contact us.
After so long apart we will want to hug you in welcome, however, we will be respecting social distancing at all times and wearing visors and other items of PPE during your treatment when we are up close with you.
We ask that you pay by card, where possible. You have the choice of paying in full when you book your appointment, should you wish to do so.
Although you won't be able to 'pop in' to purchase gift vouchers or products these services are still available for you. Gift vouchers can be purchased online via our shop and will be immediately available for you to send to your recipient or to yourself. Products can be ordered and paid for over the phone and we will either arrange a no contact collection or for them to sent direct to your home address.
Please be assured that all therapists on site will be adhering to social distancing and will have limited contact with one another.
For those that have outstanding gift vouchers we would ask that you leave redeeming them for the first few weeks that we are open. We understand that you also need a treat and will try to accommodate you where we can. Vouchers that expired during lockdown are extended. Please contact the salon to check your new expiry date.
